Undertaken by Development Research Center, MWR, Study on Soil and Water Conservation and Rural Sustainable Development has three objectives:
(1) Analyzing the effects and popularity of existing policy and measure on soil and water conservation.

(2) Evaluating the implementation of soil and water conservation policy, and analyzing the economic effects of soil and water conservation measures, and grasping main problems of the two perspectives.

(3) Analyzing relationship between soil and water conservation and rural sustainable development, as well as main issues that are up against development, and exploring effective means and measures that would promote developments of both the two parts.
