Study on Effects of Soil and Water Conservation on Water Resources and Water Environment is undertaken by China Water International Engineering Consulting Co.,Ltd. It is aimed at summarizing the study progress in soil erosion distribution models, and in effects on hydrology and water resources, and analyzing the mechanism of effect of different soil and water conservation measures on hydrology and water resources in Loess Plateau, and exploring the technological system of quantitative assessing environment effects of soil and water conservation. This study would provide basis for increasing planning and strategy deciding level of soil and water conservation management departments at all levels, and would be reference for the present widespread pollution control and Potable water sources protection.
