CWMP Monitoring and Evaluation Achievements High-Level Promotion Workshop was held in Beijing on December 3-4, 2008. Representatives were mainly from Ministry of Water Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Monitoring Center of River Basins, provincial Soil and Water Conservation Monitoring Station, Center of the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office of foreign capital, World Bank, Ecological Environment Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Soil and Water Conservation.
On the workshop, experts introduced the important achievements that had been made in M & E system building, including M & E system framework, data share mechanism, comprehensive evaluation methods and models, unit data standards, biodiversity M & E, etc. They then discussed a lot on the promotion, application and the existing problems of every achievement.
