General Engineering Office of YRCC on November 29, 2008 held acceptance and examine conference of the two subjects of Loess Plateau Watershed Soil and Water Conservation Monitoring Data Collection Technical Directives and Loess Plateau Watershed Soil and Water Conservation Monitoring and Evaluation Data Unit Standards. Representatives were mainly from YRCC, UMRB, the Northwest University, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, The ecological environment of the Yellow River Soil and Water Conservation Monitoring Center, CWMP Project Implementation Office.
On the meeting, reports on previous work, implementation of the suggestions to the workshop that was held in July, and the revision of those standards were delivered, and experts put forward detailed opinions on revision accordingly. Mr. Li Jingzong, Director General of the General Engineering Office, YRCC was present and made a speech. He said, standards were imports components of Digital Yellow River, and besides, the standards were hoped to have been revised within two weeks according to experts’ suggestions, and to have been issued and implemented in the year.
The two subjects have been carried out on the basis of CWMP Yellow River Soil and Water Conservation Eco-Environment Capacity Building, it is aimed at specifying M & E data collection and the organization, management, search, exchange and share of the database, it would be a support of data in Digital Yellow River
