Learned from preparation work conference 26 May that the 4th International Yellow River Forum is now in full preparation, with the overall framework fixed. Its central theme is “Ecological Civilization and River Ethics”, meanwhile, there will be nine main topics, with which concepts of river control and watershed rehabilitation will be discussed from multi-perspectives. Besides, 11 sessions, such as inter-governmental cooperation, international organization, etc., will also be held during the forum.
Registration now goes well after previous two rounds of notice. Up to now, representatives from more than 30 countries all over the world have registered, including officials from governments and international organizations, experts and scholars from universities and scientific institution, and engineers and technicians of water resources.
The preparation leaders group of the 4th IYRF said they would try to make the forum concise, novel and elegant by learning from other international conferences.
